Congratulations to Year 11 student Riley J, who proudly represented Australia in the Under 17 Men’s Netball Team during the recent Pacific Horizon Cup tour of New Zealand.
Riley’s journey to the Australian team began earlier this year when he represented South Australia at the national championships in Perth. His strong performances earned him an invitation to attend a three-day Australian selection camp in Sydney in June.
Following the camp, Riley was selected to wear the green and gold and travelled to New Zealand during the July school holidays for his first international competition.
Australia competed in a best-of-three series against the New Zealand Under 17 Men’s Team. Riley and his teammates delivered an outstanding performance, winning all three matches to complete a 3-0 series victory.
Representing your country is a remarkable achievement and reflects Riley’s hard work, dedication and commitment to the sport. Everyone at 胡桃女神 is incredibly proud of Riley’s success and congratulates him on this outstanding milestone.
