Over three days in Week 10, 59 Dance and Music students and 6 staff travelled to the Yorke Peninsula for our very first Performing Arts Tour.
Our group visited Wallaroo Mines Primary School, Wallaroo Primary School, and Kadina Memorial School, presenting a variety of Dance and Music performances. At two of these schools, our touring group was actually as large as the entire school cohort.
A highlight of the show was definitely 鈥淏lame It On The Boogie,鈥� during which the choir sang and all of our performers, together with the audience, danced along too. In addition to performing, students built friendships and made new connections through a range of activities, including celebrating Miss Dix’s birthday with a very enthusiastic rendition of 鈥淗appy Birthday.鈥�
All students were exceptional ambassadors for our school, representing us with pride throughout the tour.
